Once your user defined fields are entered into the database, you can modify
screen layouts to include these as well as ExtraView's inbuilt fields. You
can include, move or delete fields on any of the layouts.

Click the Layouts & Display
tab on the ExtraView Administration screen, and then click the Screen
and Report Layout Editor link.

To start with, you may ignore the ability to set
up layouts for different user roles, and for different business areas and projects within your database, so click the Edit button beside
any layout that you would like to edit. Note that there is a different
layout for each of the screens and reports such as the add screen, the edit screen,
query filters and detailed report.

Use the layout editor to create new
rows and columns, or to move fields to different cells, and select fields from
the field-name dropdown list. Repeat this process for all screens and report
layouts. Consult the ExtraView Administration Guide for details on how to
use the layout cell attributes. Remember to Save your layout after you make any changes. |
