ExtraView Corporation offers a variety of training programs for end-users, administrators and developers. The ExtraView curriculum includes a mixture of short webinars and more rigorous training spanning periods from one day up to two weeks. Classes are held at your site, online, or on the ExtraView Corporation Campus in California. We can also customize training to meet your particular needs. Introduction to ExtraView

Make this course your starting point with ExtraView. This free one-hour course introduces you to fundamental ExtraView functionality, including end user features and basic site administration.

ExtraView End User Training

ExtraView end user training is prepared jointly with your organization so that an effective teaching session may be presented to your users. Sessions contain information about ExtraView and information about your company's processes. Typically this will be custom built, and will contain screen shots and examples from your customized site.

Target Audience: New ExtraView administrators.
Prerequisites: ExtraView Administration - Levels I and II

ExtraView API and CLI

All aspects of the Application Programming Interface (API) and the Command Line Interface (CLI) are covered in this two-day course. The course leads you through the information needed to use the API and CLI as stand-alone tools, and as bricks in the road to integrating ExtraView with your other enterprise applications.

Target Audience: ExtraView administrators.
Prerequisites: ExtraView Administration - Levels I and II, knowledge of web-based applications and servers, including HTML and scripting languages such as Perl

ExtraView Perforce Integration

This one-day course is really a combination of instruction and actual implementation of an ExtraView-Perforce integration. During the couse we will work directly with your company's administrator so that by the end of the day your company will have a functioning integration working on one of your internal development environments. Your company's administrator will be coached on the installation, configuration, administration, and use of the EVP4D daemon and integration.

Target Audience: ExtraView and Perforce administrators. This course is not designed for end users.
Prerequisites: ExtraView Administration - Levels I and II and Perforce SCM. Knowledge of the ExtraView API and CLI is a plus.

ExtraView User Custom

User custom training will provide your programming team with the skills to program within the ExtraView servlet environment. This programming does not involve altering the ExtraView base source code, but involves proprietary techniques that allow you to extend and alter the functionality of ExtraView with your own modules. It is with this technique that you can be certain that you can tailor ExtraView to work exactly and precisely as you need, and can integrate with other enterprise applications. This is a ten-day intensive course with significant hands-on exercises.

Target Audience: Advanced ExtraView administrators and programmers, system integrators, value added resellers, and other technical parties looking to develop upon the ExtraView platform.
Prerequisites: ExtraView Administration - Levels I, II and Advanced Topics; good knowledge of Java coding, SQL databases, JavaScript, HTML, and web-environments. This course will also cover the materials taught in the API/CLI standalone course (described above).
