SSO and LDAP support eases the administration of individual security data. HTTPS can also be used on your web server, to further secure your information flow.

ExtraView administrators may use one of several single sign-on products that provide authorization for seamless user login to ExtraView. Single sign-on provides the authentication to ExtraView and other applications with a single user entry with an individual ID and password. In addition to support for the initial authorization of a user for ExtraView, the SSO authorization can be invoked during the processing of a form, for further user authentication when required. This is a key component for ExtraView's compliance with various government regulations such as the FDA 21 CFR 11 electronic records and electronic signatures requirements.
