ExtraView provides the option to grant tightly-controlled access to partners and customers. You can set up multiple roles, and each role will only see the specific information you want them to see.

New users may self-register, or be added by the administrator. If given the option to self-register, new users are typically placed in a restricted role. This only allows submission of new issues to ExtraView. If users are granted access to search functions, ExtraView can limit searches to issues submitted by others from the same company, and/or issues that have been specifically marked as 'PUBLIC'.

Several components control user access. A user's role determines screen, layout, field and many other access permissions. Record-level security may be controlled by company name and privacy group.
